Important Notice


Customs-duty arrangements vary by destination:

  • United States: Import duties are included in the shipping charge paid by the customer.
  • European Union: For declared values not exceeding 150 euros, YYwings covers import duties of approximately 3 euros.
  • Other countries and regions: Shipping charges generally cover transportation only. Import duties, taxes, and customs-clearance fees are the customer's responsibility.

Not included —
Import duties are not included and must be paid by the customer. The local customs authority determines the amount based on the applicable product classification code and customs valuation.

Import VAT, customs-clearance fees, and customs-processing fees are not included. The customer is responsible for these charges if assessed.
Other Countries Not included —
Orders are generally shipped under Delivered at Place (DAP) terms. The customer is responsible for applicable import duties.

The customer is responsible for applicable VAT/GST, customs-clearance fees, and customs-processing fees.


Any additional charges assessed by customs authorities or carriers may need to be paid before the parcel is released or delivered. These charges are separate from the shipping fee paid at checkout unless expressly stated as included above.


1. Orders to the United States

U.S. import duties are included in the shipping charge paid at checkout. Import taxes, customs-clearance fees, and customs-processing fees are not included and must be paid by the customer if assessed.

Customers still pay shipping at checkout; the shipping charge already includes the applicable U.S. import duty. Under normal circumstances, no additional import duty is due when the parcel arrives.

If the carrier or customs authority requests a second payment of import duty, please contact YYwings before paying and provide the notice or invoice so that we can verify the charge with our logistics provider.

The standard shipping charge may not cover additional costs caused by exceptional circumstances:

  • Handling fees resulting from incorrect or incomplete recipient information;
  • Storage fees resulting from failure to provide identification or import information promptly;
  • Fees resulting from refusal, late payment, or repeated delivery attempts;
  • Additional charges resulting from special customs inspections or the recipient's personal import eligibility;
  • Applicable state or local sales or use taxes not collected at checkout.

 

2. Orders to the European Union

For shipments with a declared value of €150 or less, YYwings covers the approximately €3 import-duty charge under our shipping arrangement.. Customers do not need to pay this import duty again when the parcel arrives.

For shipments above €150, customers are responsible for import duties calculated by local customs based on the product classification and customs value.

However, EU import VAT and local customs-clearance service fees are not included in the product price or shipping charge. Customers may still be required to pay:

  • Import VAT at the rate applicable in the destination country;
  • Customs-clearance fees charged by the local postal operator or courier;
  • Tax collection or advancement fees;
  • Storage fees resulting from customs inspection, delayed documentation, or late payment.

VAT rates and carrier charges vary among EU member states. The final amount is determined by the customs authority, postal operator, or courier in the destination country.

If local customs or the carrier requests another payment of the approximately €3 import duty, please contact YYwings and provide proof of the charge so that we can verify it.

 

3. Other Countries and Regions

Except for the U.S. and EU arrangements described above, international orders are generally shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms.

Shipping charges paid to YYwings cover transportation only and do not include:

  • Import duties or additional tariffs;
  • Import VAT, GST, or other consumption taxes;
  • Customs declaration or brokerage fees;
  • Customs-clearance fees charged by postal operators or couriers;
  • Tax advancement fees;

These charges are determined by the destination country's or region's government authorities, customs authorities, postal operators, or couriers.

By placing an international order, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted this policy and agrees to cooperate with any required import-clearance procedures.
